WHAT TO EXPECT
This 3-day camp will introduce the wonders of the outer space to your child, through exciting hands-on projects such as stomp rockets, LED bracelets and air-powered pistols! Every creation is designed to enhance your child's psycho-motor skills, at the same time have him/her learn about the science and math within.
All programme participants will:
Create a total of 5 hands-on projects to bring home
Participate in a final team-based challenge
Learn about basic making tools and techniques

Warm up and get to know your fellow astronauts through fun games, before we launch into outer space (not quite, but you know what we mean!) and be intrigued by wonders of astronomy.
Project #1 - Stomp Rocket
A step-activated rocket that uses air as a means of propulsion. Experiment and learn how launch angles affect the trajectory of rockets.
Project #2 - Star Gazer
A personal star viewer to learn about horoscopes and constellations, and how to recognise them in our night skies.
Day 2 - ASTRO TRAINING
Venture beyond our sun and discover our solar system! Shine bright like stars with your customised wearable technology, and build a mini solar system model.
Project #3 - LED bracelet
A stunning wearable technology that teaches basic circuitry, conductive and non-conductive materials.
Project #4 - Orerry (Sun-Earth-Moon model)
A realistic hand-powered model that shows the relative motion between our sun, earth and moon. Learn about moon phases, and how we always only see the same side of the moon.
Day 3 - MISSION ABOUND
Gear up and build your own air-propelled pistol as we head to battle! A finale team challenge will have participants getting creative to defend their planet and win!
Project #5 - Air-powered Pistol
An air-powered 'weapon' that shoots amazingly well! Learn to saw PVC pipes and the principles of air pressure behind this device.
