WHAT TO EXPECT
Please note this class will be conducted live via Zoom.
This programme will introduce the basics of 3D modelling using the TinkerCAD software created by MIT. Participants will sharpen their spatial appreciation and cognition through exercises of adding and subtracting volumes from one another, and also express themselves in a virtual and all-new manner! There are 2 levels for this programme:
Learn about the TinkerCAD platform and its basic operations
Construct and manipulate basic shapes
Adjust dimensions, colours and aligning objects
Create popular characters such as a Minecraft creeper and more!
Create a personalised pencil holder
Advanced techniques such as workplane, text and other shape generators
Introduction to 3D Printing
TinkerCAD 3D Modelling software
Spatial dimensions and appreciation
WHAT TO PREPARE
This is a live class taught over Zoom. Each participant will need:
Two (2) devices:
1 tablet or computer/laptop with webcam (for coaching)
1 computer/laptop with mouse (for practice)
Zoom app downloaded on both devices

1. My child has prior background. Would this be an issue?
No problem at all! Our program is designed for absolute beginners with zero prior experience. The appropriate level of guidance and coaching will be provided to suit learners of varying competencies.
2. Any minimum number of participants required?
Yes, a minimum of 6 participants is required for this course to run. Any event of cancellation will be made known to registered participants at least 1 week prior to commencement.
